Safety & Sanitization Measures

Jump Start Day Camp will be following all of the mandates and recommendations made by the CDC & State of Ohio for day camps, daycares, and gyms.

Entrance screening: Symptom and temperature checks will occur at sign in and sign out. Our screening procedure is modeled after those being used in healthcare facilities. Individuals who screen positive will not be allowed to participate in camp.

Masking: Masks are recommended during quiet or craft time and for parents entering and exiting the building during pick up/drop off. Masks may not be safe during exercise due to the excess carbon dioxide inhalation caused by breathing heavily into the mask.

Staggering: Pick up/drop off times and lunch/snack times will all be staggered.

Grouping: Groups will be separated by age or request to be together. We will be adhering to the 9:1 ratio set by the State of Ohio mandate. Each grouping will remain the same until the end of a student’s enrollment.

Activities: May include "ninja" obstacle courses, small group (non-contact) games, dance instruction, intro to theater, gymnastic instruction, crafts or quiet time (personal computers permitted), non-contact sport drills etc.
